ALONG CAME A SPIDER Patterson James Albeit, I am slow at these things sometimes. I have never been a fan of James Patterson. But, I became curious about Along Came A Spider because of Kiss The Girls. When I discovered Along Came A Spider was the prequel to Kiss The Girls, well I had to read the first. The story kept me interested, however, I was a little disturbed about a white guy trying to explain a black man's take on life. At first, this did not bother me, I got into the story and was interested. The story was about two children that are kidnapped from an exclusive, private school in Washington, D.C. There is a lot of action, which I like. But, there is too much commentary about what it is like to be a black man and as I said earlier this bothered me. I would have rather Patterson stuck to people who knows of and about. Currently, I am undecided about reading through Kiss The Girls
